Is there ever an extra fee for an additional pet?

We believe that a family is a family, no matter how big or small. We never charge extra for additional pets. We may recommend a longer visit if we feel that we can't properly care for your entire furry family in the time allotted.

What do I do next?

Simply click on the big yellow button at the top of the page and select that you're New Client. We'll come to your home for a free in-home consult in order to review care instructions and ensure that everyone's nice and comfortable. You'll be able to specify a time for this meeting while completing the New Client Reservation Form.

How do you make sure that my keys are kept safe?

All of our clients lease from us a (fully refundable) realtor-grade lockbox, and keys are secured on-site. This means that all keys to stay in your possession at all times, and it also allows us to be available even in case of emergency. You'll choose your own PIN for the lockbox. This PIN is always kept secure and is never published in your pet's care instructions.

Do you do group dog walks?

Our dog walking services are one-on-one with a single walker, allowing for our complete, undivided attention of your dog only. We'll happily walk multiple dogs within the same household together, provided that they get along. We may request a longer walk session if we do not feel that we can safely walk all dogs simultaneously.

Do I get to meet my walker/sitter in advance?

Your in-home consult will take place with a Wags Manager, which guarantees that we collect and document all care instructions properly. We fully understand if you'd also like to meet the actual walker/sitter who's scheduled for your upcoming service: in these cases, in order to fairly compensate the staff member for their time, we'd schedule a regular visit for a time that you'll be home.

Is there an additional charge on holidays?

In order to fairly compensate our staff for taking time away from their families on the holidays, these additional rates apply on all major holidays: For dog walking & dog sitting services, add $8.00 per visit. For cat-only services, add $10.00 per calendar day. For sleepover services (made available to our ongoing dogs walking clients), add $35.00 per night.

How far in advance do I need to book or cancel dog walking services?

For our regular prices, all dog walking services must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of the requested day of service (for example, by Monday at midnight for a Wednesday walk). We understand that plans change! Dog walks canceled outside of 24 hours prior to the day of service incur no penalty. Cancellations inside of 24 hours prior to the day of service are charged in full, but also credited to your account in the form of a free walk. This free walk is automatically applied to your next invoice that occurs at least thirty days after the date of original cancellation.
